The Vision Thing Article Response

In every thing find, joy! In today’s society, we have grown up with an attitude of entitlement that has resulted in a generation that is very unsatisfied or not pleased with what they have. We always want more, more money, a bigger house, a better marriage, better school, better boy/girl friend, and many other things. In “The Vision Thing” by Karen Kondazian, it was said that “most of us are convinced that if we could only have something outside of ourselves, we'd be happy”. If we had more of something we would find happiness. Sadly people do not enjoy their present circumstance and they don’t find beauty in the midst of ashes. But if we look at other famous world changers, they all found happiness in the worst circumstances and now they are in our history text books.

As actors we have the ability to find beauty in moments and then pull on those moments and become them. This then turns into method acting. We see life in a different light. We can walk down the street and find inspiration to create or become a new character. We can copy different nuances and use them to create believability.

This amazing article also talked about the importance of actors and their art. I have realized more through this article that people watch actors and copy them and try and be them. I as an actor can now use that ability and lead people to Christ. Follow me as I follow him, and we all can go to our promise land.
